Industrial Food Processing equipment, Portion Saw, Fish Stick Making Machine
This is an industrial fish stick maker, called a "Portion Saw" frozen blocks of fish are cut into a portioned slab that then runs through this machine that is driven by 2 six inch linear pneumatic pistons that reciprocates to push the product through a series of table saw type blades. This machine makes the final determinning cut of the fish sticks width. (The other cuts are done through a series of band saws and "gang saws") All based on an international frozen fish block standard...
There is a large Delrin cover held down by De-Staco clamps to both hold down product and prevent hands from getting near the saw blades.
The product, once pushed off this machine (onto another conveyor) will be battered, breaded, deep fried, frozen, packaged, boxed and shipped to stores(or inventory) within the hour, producing some 5,000 pounds of product an hour...
